News on HS2 in Staffs

We would like to remind you that funding is available for projects which will enhance biodiversity along the line of the Phase 2a route by restoring existing habitat and creating new high-quality habitat .

The HS2 Phase 2a Biodiversity Investment Fund (BIF) has a value of £2 million and will be managed alongside and in synergy with the £5m Phase 2a Community and Business Funds (CEF & BLEF).

Applications for BIF opened on 10 May and the deadline for Stage One applications is 10 November 2021 .
