Today saw more projects awarded funding as part of the HS2 Community and Business Funds.

In Kings Bromley, the Parish Council has received £50,000 to undertake a refurbishment of the village hall. The village hall was built over 100 years ago and is in need of refurbishment. The project will refurbish and modernise the existing village hall to improve facilities for members of the Kings Bromley community and surrounding villages. This includes replacement of the existing toilets so that a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities can be provided, the refurbishment of the kitchen and improved cooking facilities, the creation of additional storage space and foyer/communal area along with some building renovations.

The community and business funds are administered and managed by independent community charity, Groundwork UK. For more information on Groundwork and the funds themselves click here.
