News on HS2 in Staffs

Upcoming HS2 enabling works in areas between Drayton Bassett and Handsacre in Staffordshire will sometimes result in temporary changes to public rights of way (including footpaths and bridleways) and cycleways.

The affected locations will be in Hints, Swinfen and Packington, Whittington, Huddlesford and Streethay . Please follow this link for more information on all locations .

HS2 and the COVID-19 outbreak

As previously announced, HS2 has taken the decision to postpone all face-to-face engagement events and meetings due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, we remain committed to being a good neighbour to anyone affected by our work, and have continued to notify local residents about any activities in their area through alternative methods of communication. This includes direct mail, such as the latest newsletters, which we have sent in the post to local residents that are impacted by our works.
