News on HS2 in Staffs

Last July 2019, we notified you of works Cadent Gas planned to do off the A453 - Sutton Road, south west of Mile Oak. The work involved Cadent moving an underground gas pipeline. The work started in mid- July and are expected to finish in September 2020. The previous works notification is available here October 2019 notifications to view.

In order to complete these works on time, Cadent are extending their working hours to include weekend working on Saturday and Sunday. This will enable them to carry out the pipeline diversion safely and efficiently. The extended working hours will be in place for eight weeks , from 17 February. This means you will see people on site from 08:00 am to 18:00 pm during the weekend.
